Moan: The Main window
This is the main window. It represents the whole playing area for upto four players. In multi-player games, the current player is always at the bottom of the window and the others are arranged clockwise around the edges.

Fig 4 - the Main window explained
- Current time
This is the total elapsed playing time for the current player in the game. When the main window is closed, the clock is paused until the main window is re-opened. - Current score
This is the current player's score. You will tend to score more highly when playing with more players. - Sort icon
Clicking this icon will sort the current player's hand into ascending order of card value. Wildcards (twos and jokers) are sorted high. - Reset icon
Clicking on this icon will recall all of the cards which came from your hand back into your hand. This is useful if you place cards in various places and then change your mind. - Finish icon
This is only available in single player games. You can click this when you've completed the level to skip to the next level. There is a fifteen second time penalty for each card in your hand when you do this. - Face-up pack
You can take the top face-up card to start your turn. To end your turn, you usually throw a card away onto the face-up pack. - Face-down pack
You can take the top face-down card to start your turn. This is what you do if the top face-up card is of no use to you. - Player's hand
This is the current player's hand. Cards can be arranged into any order. The winner of a round is the first player to empty their hand. - Spaces for sets
Each level has objectives to be met. The sets of cards required are placed into these spaces by the player.
